When I found out that the Bears game on New Years eve was changed from noon to 7, and all kinds of people were trying to get rid of their tickets, I thought it would be the perfect time to go! It will be the last chance that Ryan and I have to go out before the baby gets here and Alex is always looking for an excuse to stay at grandma’s. Not to mention Ryan and I both have off work so this could totally work out! I started looking into it, but when I talked to Ryan about it, he didn’t seem interested. Yes- the same guy who said he would miss the birth of our child instead of missing the Bears game! So I think that he either has something up his sleeve planned for New Years or he has gone crazy. I did mention to him what the tickets were going for on eBay, but then he said that he saw some for a different price. I asked him why he was looking into it if he didn’t want to go, but he just kind of shrugged it off. Maybe he already has tickets for us and HE is surprising me? We will have to see. Who knows.
Oh- for those of you who didn’t know, I got Alex and Ryan a puppy for Christmas!!! They LOVE her and were both SO surprised!!! She is a cutie-pie! She is 9 weeks old- a black lab. I am hoping she turns out as good as Aspen- wish me luck! We let Alex name her- she picked “JINGLE BELL” since we got her on Christmas. So we are calling her Bell. I tried to post a picture, but stupid blogger won't let me.

Da Bears and Babies
Hi everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Ours was great this year. It was nice having it over a weekend like it was.
So during our Christmas festivities, it occurred to Ryan that my due date is Feb 4th- Super Bowl Sunday. With the Bears running a very good chance at being in the Super Bowl this year- he informed me that he is NOT going to miss the game. If I am giving birth at that point- I am on my own! He said maybe we should have the midwives induce me a few days early so we don’t have to miss the game! Great solution- I am sure that is a perfectly acceptable medical reason to induce someone early. I told him there are TV’s right in the delivery room (I remember watching Survivor while I was in labor with Alex!) but he said he didn’t want to be “distracted” by the birth while watching the game. Now I know he is just kidding around and truth be told- I don’t want to miss it either!!! So wish me luck that this baby comes a day after the or before the game, but NOT on my actual due date! I read somewhere that only like 15% of babies are actually born on their due dates, so I should be ok.

STAPLES
It’s the holidays so I don’t want to complain and be negative- this is more of a funny story than a negative one. Just more proof of how stupid people are. This woman today at work started ranting this morning about something. I asked her what was wrong, she said “It makes me SO mad that I always run out of staples RIGHT when I need to use one! UGH!” …this is followed by a sigh and an eye roll. Now let me as you- when the hell exactly do you use the stapler, but not actually NEED the staples in it? It made no sense- OBVIOUSLY it runs out when you need it- if you didn’t need it, you wouldn’t be using it and you wouldn’t know it was out! It’s the same as those people that tell when you are looking for something “Oh it will be in the last place you look” well no shit Sherlock- why would I keep looking for something after I have found it!
Anyways- I really am in a good mood and very Christmasy today! I can’t wait for this weekend. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas weekend and be safe out there- the weather is nasty!

Ok so here I have been thinking all this time that I am done Christmas shopping. Last night, out of the blue, it occurred to be that I totally and completely forgot Libbie! Libbie, my confirmation sponsor, my maid of honor, my daughters Godmother!!! FORGOT her completely!!!!! We grew up together, she spent entire summers living at our house and I can’t even remember to get her a gift this year! So I was one of those frantic last minute shoppers today scurrying around the mall hoping that something will pop out and me and say “I AM THE PERFECT GIFT FOR LIBBIE”. I did find stuff and a cute card as well, so all is well in the world again. Now I am just in panic mode though hoping I didn’t forget anyone else! I guess this year at least I can just blame it on pregnancy, but I really hope I didn’t forget anyone else! I am just glad I remembered her in time I guess.
Also- I think it’s going to be a small miracle if I don’t gain 15 pounds over the next week. Work is horrible! Everyone is bringing in cookies and caramels and candy…etc… PLUS all our vendors and accounts keep having stuff delivered. Meat and cheese trays, popcorn balls, cookies, cakes, candy, fruit baskets- you name it! There is SO much food around it’s hard not to nibble all day long. Wish me luck girls!

6 days to go!
It’s really getting close now. I feel like I did when I was a kid and it got this close to Christmas. I think you kind of lose that feeling, but get it back when you have kids at the age that THEY are really into Christmas. I am glad that Alex seems just as excited to be giving everyone else their presents as she is about getting them. Maybe it just seems that way through my rose color glasses, but I can only hope.
Ryan actually told me yesterday to stop making so many Christmas cookies! I am done shopping and wrapping and there is nothing left to do until this weekend now. So I have been baking cookies like crazy. Anyone watch Grey’s Anatomy? I am like Izzy with the muffins! I only plan on making 1 more kind until Christmas- then I am done- promise.
Not really much to say today, just wanted to post.
Hope you all had a great weekend.

Adding to the terror
Ok so if I wasn’t freaked out enough… the DAVENPORT police department called us last night! They said that there have been so many break ins that they were calling everyone in the neighborhood to warn them and give safety tips. They called about 30 minutes before Ryan had to lave for work so I was hysterical. So of course after I go through my 15 minute routine of making sure everything is locked up, I try to go to bed. I couldn’t sleep at all. At about 12:30, Millie started barking her head off! She went on and on for 25 minutes! I didn’t go down to check on things, I just kept hoping it was a bunny in the yard or something. So then at 2am, 3:45 am and 4:40 am she does it again. I know that it wasn’t someone trying to break in at each of those times, but needless to say I got about 2 hours sleep at best last night- if that. I almost hope that one of the times she went nuts it was these creeps trying to break in and Millie made them just check our house off the list and they moved on. I KNOW I am overly paranoid about this, but the fact that the PD called about it just sent me over the edge!

TERROR in DAVENPORT!
I am completely terrified and want to move now. I don’t know where too, but somewhere. There has been 2 girls not that have gotten their houses broken into at work.
These 2 girls both live within a mile of me. With me being at home alone at night since Ryan works nights I am scared to death and freaking out! I want to move to that neighborhood that never has break-ins! I realize that for 1, this is the time of the year with the highest crime rate, and 2- there is no perfect neighborhood that never gets broken into, but still!!! You guys would be laughing at me- I now go to bed with the front and back door lights on, a light on in the living room, kitchen, bathroom and 2 of our TV’s on. I also lock the loud baby gate on our stairs. The baby gate is so if someone is breaking in and trying to get me, them getting that baby gate unlocked will wake me up. I will at least have time to grab my baseball bat under the bed! Not that that is any match for a gun if they have one, but still. It makes me feel better. Now when Ryan is home, I don’t have a single light or TV on, nor do we even lock the damn doors. I don’t know why I think Ryan can save me against some lunatic with a gun, but for some reason I do!

So what did everyone do over the weekend? Anything fun?
I was a little worried that my weekend was going to be a nightmare, but it turned out fun! My parents came here to do some Christmas shopping. I am done- and try to get done by this time every year to avoid the crowds. They needed to go though. So the 5 of us (mom, dad, Alex, Ryan and I) piled into their tiny PT cruiser and headed to the mall. The 1st store we went to was the Disney store- it was PACKED to say the least. It was the 1st store though so it didn’t bother me too much. Plus, people seem to be nicer too you when you are pregnant, so everyone got out of my way! Then after that, the mall was pretty busy, but the actual stores (at least the ones we were in) weren’t bad at all! So we had fun.
My parents gift to us was a new digital camcorder. They wanted us to pick it out though so we went to Best Buy and got one! YEAH! I am so excited about it too because it’s all kept on it’s own hard drive. So there are no tapes, DVD’s, or memory cards or anything. You just plug it into your computer and click on “BURN TO DVD” and poof, it’s done. Not to mention it’s actually smaller than our regular still digital camera so I don’t have to lug some big thing around. Oh all this technology is so fun.
Sunday, Alex and I made a Gingerbread house! It turned out pretty cute considering the main person making it was 3! Ryan taped it all so that will be the start to our CHRISTMAS 2006 DVD I plan on making. Well it isn’t “taping” anymore but I don’t know what else to call it. I will call it “taping” like my dad still says “ice-box” instead of refrigerator I suppose!

16 days to go!!!
I am SO in the Christmas spirit now!
I had a cookie exchange at work so I now have 102 different Christmas cookies at home! Thanks to Dana, I now have the best Christmas CD ever, so I have been listening to that non-stop. I am DONE shopping so that always makes me happy. I have been wrapping presents and decorating the house more and more every night. I told myself I was ONLY putting up the tree this year, but that hasn’t lasted long. I keep finding stuff that I HAVE to put up. How can I NOT put up the wreath my mom made and painted me, or the cute snowman candle holders my grandma got me… etc…. So my house looks like the North Pole again and I know I will regret it come January when I have to waddle around and take it all down. Oh well- I just am really in the spirit this year. I think a lot of it has to do with Alex. This is the 1st year she is really into Santa and the whole Christmas thing and actually “gets it”. We have been trying really hard to teach her that it’s not about presents and Santa, but baby Jesus birthday. She can’t make the correlation though as to why Santa brings HER gifts instead of Jesus-since it’s his birthday. Maybe I need to give Jon a call to explain it to her better!!!
I am having a really hard time spending money on myself. I hate spending money on myself during the holidays- I just feel so guilty! Well I won this contest at work and got a $25 Visa gift card. I also have a bunch of Bath and Body Works coupons for buy 1 thing get 10 free and crazy stuff like that. Anyways- I went to B&B yesterday and about had a breakdown. I just couldn’t do it. It wasn’t my money PLUS I had coupons for all kinds of free stuff and I still couldn’t buy myself stuff! I kept thinking I should get stuff for Alex or my mom or something instead. So I just left. I am going to the mall tomorrow so maybe I will try it again.

Big baby
I really think I am giving birth to a giant or something. I am HUGE now! I can’t even imagine by belly getting any bigger than it is now. I am pretty sure that this is as big as I was with Alex full term. I have 2 more months to go. So either I am having twins that somehow 2 ultrasounds didn’t catch, or I am giving birth to the worlds largest baby. Neither of which will be fun when it comes time to deliver. Luckily I don’t think everywhere else is getting big- just the belly. At least that is what I am telling myself.
Sorry, I am not brave enough to post pictures though. Maybe I will post one from over the holidays, but I plan on strategically placing Alex in front of my for all photos so this monster belly isn’t in any pictures!!!

Let it snow
I really feel like a huge blog slacker lately! I feel like you guys have 3 or 4 in by the time I get a chance to do another one. I never feel like I have much to say- so I will just ramble, and we will see what happens.
Ok so this weather is crazy! We got about 8 inches in Davenport. EVERYTHING is closed! (except my office of course). So Ryan is home playing “Daddy daycare” with Alex today. This should be interesting when I get home. I am guessing there will be a box of pizza sitting on the counter from somewhere (if anywhere) that delivers today. There will be about 3 sippy cups on the end tables along with 3 empty cans of soda. She will probably still be wearing her pj’s when I get there. If not, they will be on the floor somewhere and she will be wearing an outfit that doesn’t match at all. Every toy she owns will be out and on the floor in a million pieces. Wish me luck tonight girls I will be busy cleaning that mess up!
I am really in the Christmas spirit this year. I have 95% of my shopping done. I just need a couple other little things- stocking stuffers and teacher gifts and then I am done.
I have a cookie exchange I am going to next week. Yes I know this is So not like me to be involved in one of those, but I am pregnant and it involves cookies so I am in! We have to make 9 dozen cookies each! That’s 108 damn cookies! I get to COME home with that many though so I guess it all works out ok. I was going to pull a Dana and make gingerbread men- with little icing faces and buttons made with those tiny m&m’s, but when I heard how many we had to make, that changed!!!
What else, what else… oh! I am on a mission to find a great Christmas CD too! So if anyone knows of one let me know. I would just download and burn one, but I don’t want to subscribe to some website and mess with all that. I would just use it this once to make the perfect Christmas CD and never use it again. I might break down- we will see.

Bath nightmare
I am a blog slacker again aren’t I! The holidays are just busy I suppose. Anyways- I do have a funny story. Well either a funny story or I am a mean mom story- I will let you decide!
So the other night I was trying to get Alex in the tub. You all either know or will soon know how difficult this can be. I don’t get it- I can NOT get her in the tub, but once she is in there I can never get her out either! Go figure… anyways- she was going on and on about how she didn’t want to get in the tub or take her clothes off. Then she kept saying she wanted to take a bath with her clothes on since she was cold and didn’t want to take them off. She had sweatpants, t shirt, sweatshirt and socks on. To a 3 year old, it is perfectly logical to take a bath with your clothes on apparently. So after what seemed like forever, I picked her up and put her in the bath fully clothed. She laughed for 2 seconds and then started balling! I kept telling her “well this is what you wanted isn’t it?” but she just kept saying that I ruined her clothes. So I am dying laughing, but she found no humor in this. I stopped laughing and got her clothes off, promising her I would wash them right away. When she got out later, she told Ryan that I was a mean mommy and put her in the tub with her clothes on. So of course, Ryan thinks I am nuts- but he didn’t know the full story. She BEGGED me for 10 minutes to get in the tub with her clothes on - I thought she would think it was funny!!!!

Stroller drama
It really is a blessing and a curse to be tall. For the most part, I have enjoyed being tall. It comes in handy. All the stuff- May Crowning and choir and all that, I always got to stand in the back. When I am in the grocery store, little old ladies as me to get stuff for them and then I feel useful. At home, I never have to ask Ryan to get stuff off the top shelf for me. Same at work- I don’t have to use the step stool to get into the top drawer of the filing cabinet. I don’t need a ladder or chair to put up holiday decorations or even the angel on top the tree.
Today however, it is a curse. I need to get a stroller that I can use Friday (black Friday- power shopping for 18 hours….). Ours is too short and I have to bend over to push it. I have been to every store under the sun and CAN NOT find one tall enough for me! Do only short people have babies? I think not! I realize that most of the time it’s mom’s pushing the stroller and not guys- hence the shorter stroller. What do the women in the WNBA do that have kids? Hell they are loaded, I am sure they have Louis Vuitton design them a stroller or something.
So my question to you is (well mostly pertaining to Jeremy and RJ) do you have a tall person stroller? If so, WHERE did you get it??? I have found some on line that have extendable handles, but I need it by FRIDAY and don’t have time to wait for it to be shipped.

SAW
I have not seen my child since TUESDAY! I am going nuts. I had to be out of town on a business trip this week so my parents have been watching her. She is having a great time there, but I miss her like CRAZY! We are headed to Streator tonight to pick her up- can’t wait to see her!
Ryan and I had a date night last night. Since we had no kid, we took advantage of that. We went to see SAW III. SO SUPER GOREY! It was good though- well what I watched anyways. I have to turn away for most of it. I really like the story line and twists and stuff on there. I have to ask this though- (it won’t give away the movie if you are planning on seeing it!) if your life depended on it and you HAD to get your leg out of a trap, would you saw it off or break the bones in it so you could slide it out of the trap? I am still torn on what I would do.

Nothing exciting to blog today. Alex has been sick, so we have not done much. I did get a big chunk of my holiday shopping done this weekend. I like to try to beat the crowds. Although I am one of the fools that shops on BLACK FRIDAY every year! That is more of a tradition thing though. All the women in my family go. Mom, grandma, aunts, cousins…. I even flew up from Florida when I lived there to join them. I will be 7 ½ months pregnant with a 3 year old shopping that day. Also- 2 of the women in the family that are going have not spoke to each other in months for a little feud they are having. I am expecting nothing short of a nightmare. The memories will make it all worth it though- I wouldn’t miss it for the world!
Do any of you go shopping that day?

RELIEF!
Ok so NBC isn’t on my hate list anymore. All is well in THE OFFICE world. I love how they worked that all out so Jim gets to come back. I am not happy that the new little chippy is tagging along with him, but I guess it all just adds to the drama. I LOVED the part where Jim stole Dwight’s letterhead and faxed him “messages from the future”!!! Then the thing with tackling the coffee- oh too funny I tell ya!!!
The other thing I wanted to blog about is blog titles. I HATE having to come up with titles. I feel boring just writing whatever and then I almost get stressed trying to be witty or creative with the title! I say leave it blank, read it and come up with your own title. It’s not like you are or are not going to read this based on the title you know!

It’s not like you are or are not going to read this based on the title you know!

DISTRAUGHT
I can not even begin to describe how upset I am! The SCRANTON branch of “The Office” is closing this week! Michael spends the whole 30 minutes trying to comfort the staff. Next week they “merge” with the Stamford branch- which means Jim and Pam will be working together again! What does this mean for everyone though? I can’t believe the office where THE OFFICE is is shutting down! That would be like Monica’s apartment burning down on Friends. That’s where the show is, you just can’t get rid of it! UGH! Are they all going to the new office in Stamford? I have so many questions NBC, why must you torment me so!

Funny Alex stories
She is getting to that age where just about everything out of her mouth is hilarious! At least I think so. Here are a few of our recent conversations…
(this one lead up-long story- about me saying that I was lucky and married a good man)
A- YOUR MARRIED? To WHO?
B- Daddy
A- Oh- well I want to get married
B- Ok well when you get older you get to pick out a good person and then you can marry him.
A- Ok I want to marry grandpa (my dad)
B- (after much laughter) well grandpa is already married so you can’t marry him
A- well who is HE married to?
B- Grandma
A- WHAT? They aren’t married, they are just grandma and grandpa!
B- Yes sweetie, they are a lot of things. They are married and they are my mommy and daddy too.
A- NO THEY NOT!!! They aren’t a mommy and daddy- just grandma and grandpa- can I marry uncle Mike?
B- Well you won’t be getting married for awhile, I will explain it all to you when you get older. Uncle Mike is my little brother so you can’t marry him either.
A- WHAT? YOU not a big sister- you a MOMMY!!!
(LET me tell you- it’s hard explaining the family tree to a 3 year old!!!!)
________________________________________________________________
Ok here is another one we had (not funny, just cute)
B- Ok Alex if you could have anything on your list to Santa- just ONE of these things what would you pick?
A- A toy for the new baby
I thought that was adorable! Amoung all the Barbie, Dora, Polly pocket and princess stuff, she said if Santa brings one thing, she wants to make sure it’s a toy for her sibling! I hope that’s a sign of good things to come.

Ok last one….
We just put twin size bunk beds in her room and took the toddler bed out. She isn’t too sure about them at this point and was looking for ways to get out of sleeping in there alone….
A- MOM! I have 2 beds now, so you can sleep in here!
B- Well, I have my own bed sweetie
A- but you have to share it with daddy!
B- Well I know, but that’s ok I don’t mind sharing.
A- well why don't you share with me then?
A- I can’t leave daddy alone –he is a big baby so I have to sleep in there with him.
A- Ok well you can share with me and daddy can sleep on the top bed so he isn’t scared!
This all made sense in her mind I am sure!!!!

Idiot!
Ok so I am one of the most non-political people you will ever meet. I am not Democrat or Republican, so I am not just taking sides on this new hot button either. Have you guys heard about what Sen John Kerry just said? The SAME John Kerry who just ran for President a few years ago?
Here is his quote:
“"You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."
I mean COME ON! How hard is it to know what is “politically correct” to say in public?!?!?! I can’t believe he said this. Wasn’t HE in the military??? So he is calling himself and idiot pretty much without even realizing it. MORON! I am just floored that not only did he say this, but that he feels that way. UGH! It really takes a lot to tick me off about political stuff, but this one just did it. I hope he never recovers from all the crap he is getting about saying this.

Your education for the day...
There are several phrases that I say and I was wondering today- “So where does that come from?” I know what context to use them and what they mean, but who was the 1st person to say it. Yes- I am bored at work today. I have a million things to be doing, but I don’t feel like doing them. So anyways- here are some sayings and their origins according to a website I found…
Pound Sand (one of my favorites)
The origin of the expression go pound sand is from a longer expression, not to know (have enough sense to) pound sand down a rathole. Filling rat holes with sand is menial work, and telling someone to pound sand down a hole is like telling them to go fly a kite. The expression dates to at least 1912 and is common in the Midwestern United States.
Three Sheets to the Wind
The phrase dates to 1821. The sheet is a reference to a rope on a sailboat. To have a sheet loose in the wind is bad seamanship, to have three loose means you are not capable of controlling the boat. Occasionally you will see one sheet to the wind meaning half-drunk.
Brownie Points
This term derives from the girl scouts. That organization had (has?) a system of points that the girls would accumulate toward advancement.
The phrase entered the general language from WWII in military slang. Uniforms, the army's tendency to have soldiers do things that seemed silly and child-like, and evocation of brown-nose all contributed to the popularity of the phrase.
Rain Cats and Dogs
A hard rain in London would drown many stray cats and dogs, making it seem as if they had fallen from the sky.
In Norse mythology, cats had an influence on the weather, and Odin, the sky god, was attended to by wolves.
Balls To The Wall (not at all what I thought this one was!)
The phrase balls to the wall, meaning an all-out effort, comes from the world of aviation. On an airplane, the handles controlling the throttle and the fuel mixture are often topped with ball-shaped grips, referred to by pilots as (what else?) "balls." Pushing the balls forward, close to the front wall of the cockpit increases the amount of fuel going to the engines and results in the highest possible speed.

I don’t wanna work, I just wanna bang on these drums all day
I am hoping that at least one of you know what song I am talking about. I have it stuck in my head because that’s really how I feel today. I feel like that most says, but today it really bad.
My parents are coming up tonight to spend the weekend here. There is a Czech-Slovak museum and village near here, so we are taking my dad there for his birthday. Should be fun, I hope. Alex will hate it I am sure, so that could be a challenge, but we will see. Also- my mom is going to help me on Sunday get the babies room ready. I was reading my book and it sad that starting now, I can have the baby and it could survive (in ICU and everything, but still) so now I have visions from what Dana said about coming back for buying paint for the room and going into labor! So I just want to get ready. Plus, with the holidays coming up it will be too hard to get that stuff done then.
So what is everyone up to this weekend?

I'm the next guest star on "Without a Trace"
It’s just been crazy around here. This customer today on the phone told me that if I ever showed up in his town I would turn up missing and my family would never see me again. I can’t believe how upset customers can be! I get pretty mad, pretty easy at companies and businesses but I would NEVER be so upset as to threaten them with murder! Come on now! He was about 107 and had nothing better to do I am sure then sit on the phone and threaten me. Nice.
Today I have my gestational diabetes test. It’s funny to me that Sarah was all worried about the taking blood part of the test. I could care less about that, I hate the drinking the orange stuff! I have a super sensitive gag reflex and can’t even drink flat or warm soda with out gagging. It’s hard for me to choke down this orange stuff. I will just pretend it’s a big mimosa and try to gulp it down quick. I also have another ultra sound today so I will let you know how that goes. No- we still aren’t going to find out if it’s a boy or a girl though. We will know in February!

So our weekend wasn’t that exciting. No cruises or installing corn fireplaces, but it was a good weekend none the less. Usually EVERY weekend is spent going to visit family for some event (birthday party, new baby, shower… something) or we have family coming here. I don’t mind it, I love it. That’s why we moved back to the Midwest in the 1st place. Anyways- so this past weekend was a rare one that we had no where to go and no one to visit us. The last time we had a free weekend was Aug 12th. Our next free weekend isn’t until December 2nd, but I am sure something will come up that weekend since it’s December. Again- NOT complaining at all, I love that we get to see family and friends so much.
So anyways- Friday we just went out to dinner. Alex announced LOUDLY that the people next to us were a grandma with her daughters. All 3 women were the same age, but one had gray hair. I wanted to crawl under the table and hide. Saturday, we had to deal with a nightmare of getting cable internet installed and it not working and being on hold forever with a help desk, but once that was resolved we did some shopping. Sunday, we went out to breakfast then did a little more shopping. Went home, made some cookies and a pie. Both new recipes- both very good. The cookies were chocolate with white and cinnamon chips- yummy! The pie was called “harvest moon pie” it had pumkin, cream cheese, and cool whip in it- also yummy. Then we carved a pumpkin and had a nice big dinner while watching some football. It was a boring, but nice relaxing weekend.
So is everyone ready for Halloween?

Bueller....Bueller....
So as part of my job, I have to teach the new-hire training classes and some refresher classes for our employee’s. Some of the information is REALLY boring. Just #’s and laws and boring stuff like that. I really do try to liven it up the best I can, but the material really is boring stuff. So today I go over there and about 10 minutes into it I start asking some questions (trying to keep them engaged you know) they all just look at me the kids on Ferris Bueller. I honestly almost starting saying “Bueller, Bueller…anyone, anyone…..” but then I figured these young kids (21ish) probably don’t even know who Ferris Bueller is!!! So I just did the best I could. THEN 3 of them fell asleep a little while later! Now I know they all went out last night and were hung-over, it was 8am and I was teaching them about state laws, but COME ON KIDS! This isn’t school, it’s your CAREER! You can’t just fall asleep!!! I started calling them out, but they didn’t seem to care. I would say “Hey Brian, wake up and tell me what the liability limits are in Illinois”. I would get the shrugged shoulders and “ugh, ah, oh” (slurred version of “I don’t know”). Nice. I was really irritated, but now I have been back to my office for while and I don’t know if it’s the rain or what, but I feel like I could drift off at any minute too. I guess I can’t get too mad at them. It’s just one of those days that everyone feels like sleeping I guess.
Hence- why I am blogging right now- TO STAY AWAKE!!!

Ok so hopefully I am back on the bandwagon with the blogs. What a mess. Anyways…
How was everyone’s weekend? Mine was pretty good. We went to go visit Ryan’s sister, they just had a new baby. She is adorable. Not as cute as Emmerson, but cute though. I totally lucked out too. His sister is now going to be a stay at home mom, so she gave me ALL her work maternity clothes! She had a TON since this was her 3rd girl. I have more clothes hanging in my closet now than I know what to do with! She is about the same size as me and I always love her clothes, so I really lucked out on that one. It makes me want to have a 3rd one just so I can wear all those clothes!!! Ryan said he would buy me a new wardrobe of none maternity clothes if he can schedule his vasectomy the day after the baby is born! Hahaha!
Did anyone see the Bachelor last night? I am not too into that show, but those stupid girls on there are freaking hilarious! Drunk and passing out and one- honestly wears a tiara all the freaking time because she thinks she is a princess! It’s so funny to watch the stupid girls.
